Bruce Howard Jr. was born in Pulaski, TN April 30, 1941. He departed this life on January 27, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father Bruce Howard Sr, mother Virginia Inman, sister Bobbie Cross, brothers Jerry Howard and Tommy Howard. He was educated by the Giles County and Metro Nashville Public Schools. Bruce gave his life to Christ at an early age. He was a faithful member of New Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church and most recently Patterson Memorial United Methodist Church.
He was employed by Kroger as a truck driver for over 30 years. He also owned Christian Brothers Auto Sales for over 40 years. He enjoyed singing with his brothers, cars, especially old ones, attending car and motorcycle shows, and music. He was a founding member of the Steel Horseman Motorcycle Club, here in Nashville, TN.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gladys Howard. Children Kenneth (Glynis) Howard, Michelle (Donny) Williams, Jackie (Eddie) Wilson, Tracy (John) Coleman, and Reginald (Jeri) Howard. Brothers Frank Howard and Dennis (Yolonda) Howard, and William (Red) Oliver. Veronica (Clifford) Terrell. Grandchildren, Demarcus, Lacresia, Darius, Talisha, Kenneth Jr. (Summer), Antwon, Leah, Terrance, Tyrell, and many great grandchildren. Cousin Buford Jones and Friend Steve Woodson. Sister-in-Law Roxie Bland. A host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.Please remember the Howard family in your thoughts and prayers.
