Cathy Evon Watts entered this earthly life on January 4, 1964, to the late Robert Alan and Chyrle Anita Watts in Indianapolis, Indiana. Cathy was the oldest of ten children. She more like a mother to her younger brothers and sisters. On October 13, 2025, her earthly life ended, and she gained her wings.
Cathy accepted Christ at a young age at Watson Grove Baptist Church.
Cathy was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Schools, where she graduated from McGavock High School class of 1981 . Cathy was a very loving and caring phlebotomist for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, reading, and traveling with friends. Cathy was a firm but honest mentor to many.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Alan and Chyrlle Anita Watts; stepfather, Owen Green; sisters, Donna Kay and Chyrle Anita Watts Jr.; brother Devon Watts; nieces, Donqueita, Quantazia, and Jakayla; nephew, Desmine Watts.
Cathy leaves to cherish her memory her fiancé, Eric Lawler; Her seven children: Coty (Antionette) and Courtney Morrow, Corbin (Delisa) Watts, Dominique, Nathaniel (Cynthia), Brandon, and Torri Moore; grandchildren, Jamandis, Javon, Omari, Caleb, Aileen, Caliyah, Brandon Jr.
Her cherished siblings, Nicole (Sonya), Latasha (Maurice) and Billy Watts, Ronka (Johnny) Spencer, Deresha Campbell, Tron, and Micca Watts; nephews, Donvesus, Donovan, Clarence, Terrance, Kendrick, Shane, Jonathan, Jamarius, Brayden, Jerry, Tyler, Caiden, Micca Jr.; nieces, Adrianna, Doriana, Miccayah, Malaysha , Elaina, Emery, and Ca’leah; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews; devoted friends, Torri Moore, Keisha Byers, Angela, Brooks, Peggy Allen, Toya, Charlene Minnifee, Lisa and Johnnie, Darlene, and Diane.
