Charles W. Spence was born on April 19, 1963 to Burma Jean Spence and Charles Conn in Nashville, Tennessee.
Charlie Chan, as he was affectionely called, loved to joke and he loved to laugh; most all, he loved spending time with family and friends and was most definitely “the life of the party.”
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Conn; his grandmothers, Pauline Edmondson and Ruby Conn; and grandfathers, Felix Conn and Porter McGill.
Charles leaves to forever cherish his memory and celebrate his legacy, 9 beautiful children, Brian (Ebony) Walker, Monique Brownlow, LaToya Brownlow (Cortez Bell), Dvyonisha Ridley, Dominique Spence, Charles Spence, Jr., Chauncey, Anthony Hooper and Chantez Sawyers; mother, Burma Jean Cody; sisters, Corthea (Donnell) Clark, Carolina Conn ( Jimmy), Angie Conn, and Erica Conn; brothers, Anthony Spence, Tony Conn, James Conn, Charles Rowe and Damon Walker; loving grandchildren, nephews, nieces and many devoted friends.
