She leaves a devoted son and daughter-in-law, Eric D. (Sahara) Evans, Sr.; grandson, Eric D. Evans, Jr.; 4 sisters, Ruth Birdsong, Angela Holman, Patricia Mitchell, and Willie Bell Hayden; 3 brothers Robert, Ben, and Ronnie Vaughn; great aunt, Mary Ann Vaughn; 7 nieces; 7 nephews; a host of cousins, friends and relatives.
Public viewing Thursday, October 9th from 2-6 p.m. Family visitation Friday, October 10th from 5-6 p.m., at Mt. Zion Church, 7594 Old Hickory Blvd., with funeral to follow, Bishop Joseph W. Walker III, eulogist; Darryl Taliaferro, officiant. Interment Saturday, October 11th @ 10 a.m., Greenwood West.
