She departed this life October 9, 2019. She leaves to cherish her memory, devoted husband, Edward A. Gentry Jr; loving children, La’Toya Carter and Westley (Michele) Porter III (Long Beach, CA); devoted mother, Susanna Smartt; sister, Frances (George) Baugh; sisters-in-law, Gail Smartt and Beverly Gentry; brothers-in-law, Clifford Gentry and Victor (Johnnie) Gentry; grandchildren, Deray Harney and Timothy Warfield Jr; great-grandchildren, Timothy Warfield III, and Kylan Warfield; and a host of other relatives and friends including life-long best friend, Brenda Derrick.
