Donnell grew up in Gary Indiana and went to Rosevelt High School. He lived in Nashville, Tennessee where he was a Pharmaceutical Tech. He enjoyed allsports and coached his, son in baseball and basketball. He always made sure Levi knew his roots of Black history, and always instilled life skills to him. He loved his fiance and always called her his Bonnie, Donnell was her Clyde. Just like his fiance he always made sure his mother was taken care of and always made sure she was good the love for his mother was unconditional. Donnell has the biggest heart he would give anyone the shirt off his back or his last.
Survived by mother, Bertha Berry, fiance’, Stacey Renee' Cowan ( Lil mama); son, Levi Hanyard; daughter, Kashmire Hanyard; brothers, James Berry, William Hanyard III; sisters, Latricia Hanyard, Sharmica Hanyard; great aunt, Hattie Pane, host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father, William Hanyard II; grandfather, Bill (William) Hanyard; grandmother, Angeline Bell; grandfather, Samuel McCain; grandmother, Boytha McCain.
