Doris D. Clark began her heavenly journey on October 4, 2023. Born on November 22, 1932, in Nashville, TN, she was the beloved daughter of James O. Paschall and Minnie L. Paschall. Doris lived a long and exciting life, coursing through the 1930s Depression, Jim Crow Segregation, and The Home Front during World War II.


On June 9, 1950, Doris married Richard M. Clark. As a devoted Military Spouse, she traveled overseas and stateside duty locations. Doris raised four sons, Jerome, Stephen, Reginald (Reggie), and Harvey.


Her loved ones describe Doris as thoughtful, funny, and hospitable. Professionally, she spent many years working in the food services industry. As a member of Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church, she participated in food programs for the needy in her community.


Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Clark; son, Jerome N. Clark; grandson, Steven Clark, numerous siblings, and her parents, James and Minnie Paschall. She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Steve (Ceilia) Clark (Victorville, CA), Reggie Clark (Albuquerque, NM), Harvey (Shelly) Clark (Moreno Valley, CA); six grandchildren, Candice, Steven, Ian (Sarah) Clark, Ashley (Roger) Hazel, Ashton, and Sierra Clark and five great-grandchildren, Jayda, Roger Jr., Liam, Jackson, and Calum. She also leaves two sisters, Louise Thompson and Gloria Bell numerous nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends.
