Ella Lee Coleman Maiden name(Dawson) was born March 25, 1949 in Nashville, TN to the parents of Edward Lee Dawson, Sr and Charlene Dawson (Moore). She departed this earthly life November 5, 2020

Ella, affectionately known as "Memaw" to her grand and great grand children and Memaw to anyone else she met. She didn't meet any strangers.
She was educated in Davidson County School District and later graguated from the LPN Program in 1973. She was married to our awesome dad L.C. Coleman on June 30. 1966 and they shared 40 yrs together.

Moma accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. Her membership was Ramsey Street Church of Christ and later she moved it to Kings Lane Church Of Christ about 3 yrs ago.

Moma was employed with several hospitals and nursing homes, but working at Baptist Hospital was her favorite place when it was just Baptist.
She also enjoyed working at Medical Career College, teaching students on becoming the best CNAs. She enjoyed being a nurse and wouldn't mind telling you so.

Moma loved being around family and her friends. She was always ready for a good spade game. She also wore many hats in our family; Some of them were "Moma, Memaw, Sister, Cousin, Niece, Daughter, and most of all she was a "Friend". She organized Classic Ladies Social Club with her friends and they traveled together. She also made a lot of friends at the Women's Mission.
Moma was preceded in death by her husband L.C. Coleman, her son Timothy L. Coleman, Her parents Edward Lee Dawson and Charlene Dawson, her sister Delores J. Martin. And now they are reunited in Heaven again.

Moma leaves to cherish her memories are; 3 beautiful daughters, Aundrea L. Coleman (Terry), Karol L. Howard (Vernon) Daryle L. Jackson (Fredrick Kent). 5 siblings, James Dawson( Elissa), Delilah Dawson, Catherine Dawson, Lee Dawson Jr.(Laura), Lenora Elias. Grandchildren; Jonteze D. Coleman(Jasmine)Deonjonae L. Mays (James), Chabreauna Coleman, Teauna N. Coleman, Whitney D, Howard, Timothy K. Jackson(Shayla), Isaiah Howard, Isabella "Bella"Howard. 10 great grandkids. And numerous other relatives and friends "Carmen" who loved her dearly.
