Elteresa Harding, age 62, passed away on December 27, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. Born and raised in Nashville, Elteresa was a proud daughter of the city she loved and a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew her.
Elteresa dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a phlebotomist, a role that reflected her natural compassion, patience, and desire to help. Beyond her work, she was a woman deeply rooted in faith and family. She found joy in cooking meals that brought people together, listening to music that lifted the spirit, and serving her community with kindness and grace.
She will be remembered as loving, resilient, nurturing, strong, selfless, and joyful—a woman whose warmth made others feel seen, safe, and supported. Elteresa had a gift for loving deeply and giving freely, and her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched through her care, encouragement, and unwavering devotion to family.
Elteresa was preceded in death by her father, Lawson Harding, Sr.; her mother, Evelyn Marie Harding; her brothers, Lawson Harding, Jr., Dorris Eugene Harding, and Thomas Lee Harding; and her sister, Sandra Marie Harding.
She is survived by her beloved sons, Marques T. Harding and his partner Jazmyne Nolan, the mother of her granddaughter, and Allen L. Woods; her cherished granddaughter, Azalea M. Harding; her sisters, Joyce'Ann (Andrew) Talley, Christine Williams, and Shirley (Tracy) Gibson; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Funeral service details will be announced at a later time.
