Age 70, transitioned August 29, 2019. Survived by wife, Freda; children, Nichelle (Rufus Jr.) Johnson, Jacquelynn (Kerry Jr.) Donaldson, Fon III; grandchildren, Lauryn, Austin and Landon Johnson; goddaughter, Linay Verge; six sisters; seven brothers; twelve sisters-in-law; eight brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. Public viewing Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 4-7pm at Lewis & Wright Funeral Home, 2500 Clarksville Pike, Nashville, TN 37208. This will be the only viewing. Family visitation Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 11am-12 noon at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 1238 Briarville Road, Madison, TN 37115 funeral services to follow with Bishop Sandy McClain, Eulogist. Interment Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
