The Reflections
Fred Charles Fielder, Jr., affectionately known as “Freddie,” was born on June 5, 1961, in Nashville to Vivian J. Fielder and the late Dr. Fred C. Fielder, Sr.
Freddie received his early education at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School and Father Ryan High School. He later graduated from Whites Creek Comprehensive High School. Upon graduating from high school, Freddie attended Tennessee State University. Throughout his life, Freddie had a deep appreciation for learning. He was an avid reader with an enormous love for history, always eager to expand his knowledge and share what he had learned with others.
Freddie accepted Christ at an early age and became a faithful member of Clark Memorial United Methodist Church. His faith remained a steady and guiding foundation in his life.
Freddie worked at Nashville CARES, a place he loved very much. He found fulfillment in his work and took pride in serving and supporting others in the community.
Freddie had a special love for motorcycles and riding the open road. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and on the firing range. He respected the beauty and freedom of God’s creation.
On March 2, 2026, Freddie peacefully made his journey to his heavenly home with his loving family by his side. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred C. Fielder, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories a loving and devoted mother, Vivian J. Fielder; a beloved daughter, Freda K. Fielder; an aunt, Lisa Gail Johnson; an uncle, Kerry Fielder (Deborah); lifelong friend, Lynee Chavis Fielder; and a host of cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure his life, love, and legacy.
