Georgia Elizabeth Crosby

Georgia Elizabeth Crosby, 91, was born on November 13, 1932 to the late George and Everline Crosby in Nashville, Tennessee. She departed this life on March 12, 2024.

Georgia was a wonderful and loving mother to her 3 children and family. She was a longtime member of Kayne Avenue Missionary Baptist Church and played the piano for many years. Her musical skills were a great inspiration for her children. She also had a passion for cooking and baking and loved sharing her great cooking skills with others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherrell Dameron-Bloom; sister, Dorothy Harper; brother, Jerry Crosby; & brother, Bryant Crosby.

She is survived by her loving son, Edward Morris, Jr. (Andrea Perkins); daughter, Shuaybah nAdira z naji; dedicated niece, Ava Christian; brother, Clarence Crosby; brother, Richard Crosby; grandchildren, Myiesha and Shaundra Morris; James and Jonathan Dameron; Asmaa and Abdusamad Mountassib, Edward and Corey Copeland; and a host of nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren along with many other family members and friends.
