WELLS, Gertrude C. Departed this life on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Centennial Medical Center. Gertrude is preceded in death by her parents, Bertha W. Carter and Everheart Carter; two sisters, Ann Leno and Hattie M. Hill; one brother, Bob Carter. She leaves to cherish her memories; children, Janette Carter and Deatrice Wells of Nashville, TN, Vivian (George) Mack of Milwaukee, WI and David (Monika) Wells of Colorado Springs, CO; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces and in-laws; devoted friend, Willie Burney. Family visitation Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 6-7 p.m. at Temple Church, 3810 Kings Lane. Funeral to follow with Pastor Darrell Drumwright, Officiant.
