Hattie Louise Burns

Hattie Louise Burns, made her transition Saturday, August 15, 2020. Hattie was born to Johnnie Barthell Burns and Mattie Cornelius.

Hattie was a proud and devout member of the Schrader Lane Church of Christ. She was a well-known cosmetologist and procured a strong city-wide clientele which authenticated her skill and abilities.

Hattie was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Paul D. Byrns, and sisters Mattie M. Horsey, and Katherine Henderson. In addition to a throng of loved ones, she leaves to embrace her memory, her son, Cornelius (Joyce) Edwards Jr.; Grandson, Rashad (Kourtney) Mason; Brother, Bobby (Ruth) Burns of Springfield TN; Sisters, Helen Burns and Annie Harris; Sister-in-law Shirley Byrns of Nashville; and Brother-in-law, Walter Horsey, Jr. of West Chester, PA. Hattie also leaves nieces, nephews and special friends, Grace Patten, Easter Gray, Vivieca Simpson, Lola Pope, and Faye Miller to memorialize her.
