79, preceded in death by his parents Flem B. and Edith Foster Otey, and brother, Leon C. Otey.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Velma Dennis Otey; siblings Flem (Yoshie) B. Otey, III and Mattie Lou (Pete - deceased) McCoy; children Valeri (Jerael) Otey-Nellis, Raven Otey, Inman E. Otey, Jr.; five grandchildren, one great-grandson and numerous loving family members and friends.
Services are Saturday, November 26, 2016 with visitation at 11:00 a.m. and funeral to follow at Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church, 1410 Jefferson St.. Interment at Greenwood (Main) Cemetery to follow.
Visitation and tributes, Friday, November 25, 2016, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Pleasant Green MBC.
