Jacqueline Michelle Johnson

Jacqueline Michelle Roddy Johnson was born on April 26, 1971, to her loving parents, Jacqueline and Albert Charles Roddy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Montoya Natalie Moore, whose memory she carried in her heart always.

Michelle's love for travel began early in life, inspired by her father's military career. At just eight months old, she embarked on her first journey to Sinop, Turkey, beginning a lifelong passion for exploring the world. Throughout her life, Michelle embraced every opportunity to travel, creating cherished memories along the way. Most recently, she enjoyed trips to the Bahamas and the Florida Keys.

Known for her warm smile, kind spirit, and willingness to help others, Michelle touched the lives of everyone she met. She professed her faith at an early age and remained steadfast in her devotion throughout her life. As part of a military family, Michelle attended various elementary and middle schools before continuing her education. She graduated from Tennessee State University and later earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration.

Above all, Michelle treasured her family. Her children were the absolute joy of her life, and she delighted in sharing her love of travel with them, passing on her adventurous spirit. She was a devoted and loving grandmother who adored each of her grandchildren: Jayla, Skylar, Silas, Santana, and Mallory. They brought immeasurable happiness to her life.

Michelle leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Derrick Johnson; mother, Jacqueline (Tayo) Ayangbesan; daughters, Cicily, Rachel, and Gabrielle; son, Demarco; her best friend, Kim Washington; and a host of other relatives and friends whose lives were enriched by her love, kindness, and unwavering faith.

Michelle's legacy of love, faith, compassion, and adventure will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
