In Loving Memory of Mr. James Andrew Dean

James Andrew Dean – 73, departed this life on Sunday, November 5, 2023 after a brief illness.

Born in Nashville, Tennessee on June 13, 1950 to Preston Dean and Willie Robertson, James grew up in the Bordeaux area of Nashville. He attended the Catholic church and graduated from Father Ryan High School in 1969.

James worked in transportation related fields, including several years as an employee for TCW, as a taxi driver, and later at Hemphill Brothers Coach Company.

James was predeceased by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Janet Renee Dean-Gall (Keith Edward), Oklahoma City, OK; son, Andrew Scott Dean, Atlanta, GA; two granddaughters, Lily Mae Draper, Oklahoma City, OK; and Hadiyah Muhammad-Dean, Phoenix, AZ. Also friend Jimmy Harper, Goodlettsville, TN; former wife Sharon Douglas Dean, Nashville, TN; and other extended family and friends.
