BLACKMAN, SR., Dr. Jerry Age 65 of Decatur, AL (formerly a resident of Tennessee), died Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Survived by two children, Jerry (Andrea) Blackman, Jr. and Teresa Ann Blackman; grandchild, Rian J. Blackman; seven siblings: devoted twin sister, Gearldine Greer, Annette Banks, Elder Carl (Ann) Blackman, Sr., Isiah (Betty) Blackman, Mildred Bledsoe, Rosetta Blackman and Carolyn (Joseph) Crutcher; devoted former wife and mother of his children, Lorraine Cooper Blackman; and former wife, B. J. Gray Blackman; a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in the Robert E. Lewis Memorial Chapel. Visitation with the family will begin at 12 Noon until 12:30 p.m., with services to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Lewis & Wright Funeral Directors, 2500 Clarksville Hwy., Nashville, TN 37208 or the family designee in care of the Blackman fund.
