Joe Ann Taylor Cunningham, age 73, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the Late Earnest Lee Taylor and Minnie Jane Robinson Taylor.
Joe Ann attended A. H. Parker Highschool in Birmingham, AL and received a B.S. degree from Tennessee State University.
She was a member of Pilgrim Emmanuel Baptist Church. In 977, she became a Charter member of The Temple Church and served as an Usher for several years.
Joe Ann retired from the Federal Reserve Bank after 28 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Arthur Odell Cunningham, Sr.
She is survived by her brother, Ernest (Josephine) Taylor, Sr. of Madison, Alabama; sister Christine A. (David) Burnett of Marina, California; nephew, Ernest L. Taylor, III; nieces, Gillian and Diona Burnett; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Caroline (Ray) Fuqua, Peggy Cunningham Burns, and Leroy (Doris) Cunningham; and a host of nieces, nephews, stepchildren, relatives and friends.
