Sunrise: May 9, 1938 his Sunset: March 24, 2017.
Joel is preceded in death by his parents, Winter & Bessye McKissack; grandparents, Moses & Miranda McKissack; brother, Frederick McKissack; He is survived by his devoted wife of forty nine yrs., Gloria Haugaback McKissack , brothers, Lewis W. Jr., & Moses A. McKissack; a host of other relatives & friends. In lieu of flowers, Contributions can be sent to Pearl High School Heritage Classes Foundation, Inc. 3500 John A. Merritt Blvd. P.O. Box 332032 Nashville, TN 37209.
A Celebration Memorial will take place Saturday April 1, 2017 at The Church of the Holy Trinity, 615 6th Ave S. a Visitation with the family from 10:30-11:00 am with Memorial Mass to follow.
