Johnny Gant

Johnny “Bernard" Gant was born December 31, 1957 to the late Ora Lee Gant in Nashville, Tennessee. On April 13, 2022 he took flight from to live with God.

He attended Metropolitan Nashville public schools. He graduated from North High School. His hobbies included basketball, spectator sports, masonry work and home Renovation. Bernard was a very loving, extremely thoughtful , considerate individual. He was the primary caregiver for his mother Ora Lee Gant.

Bernard was preceded in death by his mother Ora Lee Gant, his grandparents, Emma and John Gant, his brother Melvin Gant Sr., sister Teresa Ann Gant Hailey, aunts Shirley Gaines, Mary A. Gant, and uncles John and Levy Gant.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his sister, Alfreda Gant, nephew Melvin Gant Jr., uncles John Gant and R.L. (Annie M) Gant, numerous loving cousins, dedicated childhood friends and other devoted relatives.
