Katherine B. Ezell

Katherine B. Ezell was born in Woodbury, Tennessee on June 26, 1935, to the late George Gilly Brown Sr. and Willie D. Alexander Brown. She departed this life on October 30, 2024.

Katherine was educated in the Woodbury and Murfreesboro school systems. She graduated from Holloway High School. She professed her love for Christ at Water Street Church of Christ at a young age. During her lifetime, she was employed by the Nashville Metro School System for over 20 years until her retirement in 1999.

She was married to the late Fred Ezell Sr. in 1954 to which one child was born.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Fred Ezell Sr.; son, Fred Ezell Jr; sisters, Lowell Brandon, Betty McBroom, Mary Brown, Margaret Dillard, and Dora, Johnson; and brothers, George Brown Junior, Charles E. Brown, and Thomas Brown.

Those left to cherish, her memory are her beloved nieces; Bernice Ezell, Avis Brown, Evon Dillard, Angie Brown, and nephews; Charles(Nannette) Dillard, Michael(Michell) Dillard, Mitchell(Laura) Dillard, Clarence(Margaret) Brandon, Leroy(Barbara)Brandon, Larry(Kathy) Brandon, Dineen(Pam) Brown, and Jeffrey Brown and a host of family and friends.
