Lena Truett

On May 1, 2026 the productive life of Lena Katherine Truett came to a close. She was born on January 22, 1950 to the late Frances Louise Crutcher and the late John W. “Dubby” Turner. She is preceded in death by her late husband Charles William Truett.

She attended North Nashville High School where she became a ColorGuard (Flag Girl), She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with the Hydes Ferry Church of Christ. She attended Kings Lane Church of Christ and later became an active member at Buena Vista Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School. Lena attended Tennessee State University studying Business Management. She worked for Werthan Bag Company for over 30 years. She attended Aquinas College where she received her degree. After college she became a Realtor. She worked at AmeriGroup as a Medical Case Management Specialist, where she later retired to spend more time with her family.

Lena leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted daughter, Vonda K. Mack; devoted son, Robert W, Mack; devoted grandchildren, Bianca Weakley, De'Vantre Mack, Ronae Crawford and Aniya Mack; devoted great grandchildren, Makirah Henry, Lamont Henry, Lailah Beaudion, Arsenio Beaudion, E'lahni Moore, Zivah Beaudion, E'siah Moore and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
