Leonard D. Dunn

Leonard D. Dunn, age 93 transitioned on Saturday, January 10, 2026. He was born October 19, 1932, to Willie and Katie Mae Coleman Dunn in Nashville, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law, Paula Marie Bailey Dunn; brother, Harold (Josephine) Dunn; sister-in-law, Lethelia (Sha Sha) Lee Dunn; sister-in- law, Rose Dunn; and brothers- in- law, John Turner, and Thomas Alexander. 

Left to honor and cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 68 years, Dorothy M. Dunn; four children: Duane Dunn, Darius Dunn, Dierdre Dunn, and Derica Dunn (George) Baker; six grandchildren: Chanel Dunn, Delexis (DeHenry) Kidd, Darrington (Rebekah) Dunn, Lavaris Summers, Julian Summers, and Avante Dunn; along with six great-grandchildren: Jayda and Jaxson Summers, Corrinna and Caidynce Kidd, Tyrese Roberts and Genevieve Dunn; brothers Frank Dunn and George (Patricia) Dunn and sister, Deloris Turner; other relatives and friends.

Bonus children: Sheila McKinney, Leonard Rucks, Camille Wade, Paula Sundara; and bonus sister-in--law: Carolyn Washington.
