Mary Newsom Wood
Nashville - Widow of the Late Robert D. Wood, DDS. Survived by devoted sons Joseph (Yvette) and Brian (Pamela) Wood and daughter-in-law, Thomasena Wood. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and host other relatives. Family Visitation, Thurs., Dec. 14, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Capitol Hill, Rev. Dr. Kelly M. Smith, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: The Robert D. Wood, DDS Scholarship Fund, Meharry Medical College, Gift Management Services, LRC Building Suite 630, 1005 Dr. D.B. Todd Jr. Blvd., Nashville, TN 37208.
