Milton Lewis Nicholson

On January 28, 2021 God was out admiring his roses and needed a special one for his bouquet and he selected Milton Lewis Nicholson” Showboat”. Milton was born on August 14, 1956 in Franklin, Tennessee to the late Kenny Nicholson and Gladys M. Johnson. Showboat attended Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) where he was a basketball standout at Hillsboro High School. Milton acquired the nickname Showboat because of his smooth moves on the court. Milton was always known as the life of the party, where he would often display his vocal talents at the annual family Christmas gathering. Milton loved to entertain his friends and family and was known for keeping us in stiches with his witty humor. He was proud of his children and loved being a great-grand father.
He was proceeded in death by his sibling Patricia Darvin and daughter Lawanda Bell. He leaves to morn his life a dedicated mother Gladys M. Johnson, devoted brothers, and sister Michael (Kathy) Garner, Harvey “Nick” (Gina) Nicholson, sister Annette (Leonard) Lake, adoring children, Kenneth Cannon, Nichole (Corico)McCray, Charese (Zerek) Mayes, grandchildren; Kameron, Leilani, Corico Jr., Raeya, Keane, Declan, Ellianna, a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
