Monico Harmon Sanders

Monico R. Harmon Sanders, age 19, was born on February 5, 2007 transitioned on April 2, 2026. With his short time on earth, he touched countless lives with his strength, talent, and unforgettable spirit.

Monico attended Metro Nashville Public Schools, where he was known for his dedication, determination, and vibrant personality. A gifted athlete, he excelled in both football and track, earning admiration from teammates, coaches, and all who had the privilege of watching him compete. His passion, discipline, and natural ability left a lasting impression on everyone around him.

Monico was preceded in death by his great aunts, Rosetta Harmon and Sarah Turner; great uncles, John and Timothy Grimes, and Orlando Harmon.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved daughter, So’Lani Rose Sanders, who was the light of his life; mother, Aneia Harmon; father, Monico Sanders; and devoted father figure, Travaris Harrison; siblings: D’Nea Harmon, Taeona Sanders, Dierra Harrison, Angel Sanders, Major Harmon, Dimirr Harrison, Ryder Sanders and Sincere Harmon; and his cherished niece, Aubree Sanders; loving girlfriend, Na’Tae Bass; devoted grandparents, Donna Harmon and Jeffery Frame; grandfather Darryl Harmon; and grandmother Tuesday Owes; aunts, Ayla (Ricco) Vaughn, Alexis Hogan, Daliyah Harmon and Merhonda Harmon; uncles, Brandon Teasley (Michelle) and Phillip Owes; as well as devoted uncles Darryl Harmon and Donavan Harmon (Jalyn); devoted cousins, Zyon Guinn, Artwann Harmon, Aylijah Harmon, Tremel Pierce, Philrenza Owes, and Rajiz Guinn Jr., along with a host of extended family and friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

Monico’s life, though brief, was filled with love, promise, and impact. His strength, talent, and spirit will never be forgotten. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him, loved him, and will continue to honor
