Mother Margaret Louise Howse

Margaret Louise Pruitt- Howse was born on August 18, 1955 to the late Irene Mooney- Pruitt and Howard William Pruitt, Sr. in Nashville, Tennessee.

She received her final reward December 5, 2020.

Margretta, as she was fondly called by all that knew her, received her education in the Davidson County School system.

She attended Pearl High School and received her Cosmetology License, she continued to work and style hair until her passing.

She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined St. Luke Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder Floyd.

On July 23, 1964, she united in matrimony to Henry Howse and to this union three children were born, Sybil, Gerald and Michael.

Margretta was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Howse; mother, Irene Mooney-Pruitt; father, Howard William Pruitt; sisters, Mildred Davis, Loistene Presley, Mary Garrett, Irene Pruitt and Loretta Pruitt; brothers, William Pruitt, Jr. and James Pruitt; grandsons, Michael Howse, Jr. and Gerald Howse,Jr.

She leaves to cherish her happy and loving memory, devoted children, Sybil Owens-Weaver, Gerald (Rhonda) Howse and Michael (Veda) Howse; grandchildren, Erica, Devenea, Ambera, Kalese, Erick and Ryane; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Little Ricky, Treylan, Deangelo, Gracen and Josiah; sisters, Ella Taylor, Estella Davis, Wilhomena Wilkes, Dorothy Jean Henderson, Patricia ( David) Rudolph, and Barbara (Donnie) Roberts; brother, Charles Buford Pruitt; devoted cousins, Michael Mooney; A host of devoted nieces, nephews; devoted friends, Vernice Stovall, Joanna Larkins, Alyce Burgess, Sallie (Daniel) Boyd, Vicelia (Tony) Johnson, Tracy Howse, Osahon Igori and Anthony Wade.

Public Walk Through will be held Monday, December 14, 2020 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Lewis & Wright Funeral Directors.

Celebration of Life service will be held, Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Lewis & Wright Funeral Directors, Robert E. Lewis Memorial Chapel.
