KELLY, Oscar Age 88 of Nashville. Departed this life on October 5, 2011. Born June 12, 1923 in Huntsville, AL. Preceded in death by mother, Georgia Kelly; wife, Lois Kelly; and mother of his children, Inez Kelly Bramley. He is survived by devoted daughter, Gloria (Roger) Williams, Nashville; son, Rev. William (Carol) Kelly, Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Kimberly and Danielle Williams, Nashville, Kelesha, Kamilah, Khalif Kelly, and great- granddaughter, Katriel Kelly, Arlington, TX; brother, Earl (Janice) Kelly, Inkster, MI; nieces, Patricia Kelly, Cookie (Ervin) Johnson, Los Angeles; nephew, Harold (Harriet) Kelly, Detroit, MI; stepdaughter, Pam (Calvin) McCain; stepsons, Michael White, Jeff Starks-Reynolds; grand niece, grand nephews, other relatives and friends. He was a retired postal employee whose 28 year career included being one of the first black window clerks at the downtown arcade post office. There will be no public viewing.
