Patricia Anne Bell, affectionately known to many as ‘Grandmama’, was born on May 11, 1946 to the late Perry Travis and Ida Woodard. She was the only child and was loved immensely by her family members.

Patricia was married to Ray Leon Bell on January 23, 1961; and this union they shared three children.

Patricia was educated in the Public School System of Nashville, Tennessee. She was employed by the State of TN Department of Safety for more than 30-years. She was a hard worker and loved to serve people. But more than anything, she loved to serve Jehovah. Patricia was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on December 25, 1971. She never shied away from an opportunity to share the truths of the Bible with strangers in the door-to-door ministry, to loved ones or anyone she met. She loved talking to people about the Bible and their future hope of living in Paradise.

Patricia loved to cook, play spades and feed the ducks with her precious SweetBaby, Brianna. She will be remembered as loving, resilient, nurturing, selfless and joyful – a woman whose warmth made others feel seen, safe, and supported. Patricia loved deeply and gave freely; leaving behind a legacy of unwavering devotion to her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Perry Travis; her mother, Ida Woodard; her husband, Ray Leon Bell, and her grandmother, Emma Jean Johnson.

Patricia is survived by her three children, Sharon Waggoner, Darin Bell and Karen Young; grandchildren, Phillip Waggoner, Sheledia (Derrick) Talley, Kenneth Waggoner, Darnell (LaToya) Young, Jantuan Garrett, Patrecia Bell; great-grandchildren, Kenneth, her precious ‘SweetBaby’ Brianna (Desmond), Jevon, Ke’Shawn, Kennedi, Jalisa, Philliance, Daves, Dylan, Darienne, & Kayden; and devoted loving cousin Rosalyn (Eugene) McKissack. She is also survived by a host of great-great-grandchildren, cousins, and other relatives; as well as her spiritual family and friends.
