Patricia Ann Jones was born October 12, 1943 to Mary Irene Nix Deaderick. She departed this life suddenly on December 16, 2020.

Patricia was educated in Metro Public Schools and was a 1961 graduate of Pearl High School. She pursued a career as a Medical Technologist after receiving an Associate Degree at Allied Health Institute. She really enjoyed working in a number of children’s clinics and she last worked at the Brentwood Children’s Clinic before her retirement. After retirement, she enjoyed various part time jobs, going to the gym, and spending time with family.

Patricia, who was known as “Pat” or “Patsy”, loved to cook and organize family gatherings. She readily shared her many culinary specialties with family and friends.

She was very devoted to her sons, grandchildren, and extended family.

She was baptized at an early and was an active member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church through her teen years. As an adult, she was a cherished member at Word of Faith/Faith Life Church. Recently she had begun to worship with Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Patsy loved to work in the church faithfully serving in various capacities where she worshipped.

Pat leaves to cherish her memory, devoted mother, Mary Irene Deaderick, loving and devoted sons, Damion (Michelle) Nix, Darrell (LaTonia Smith) White, siblings: Robert A. Nix, Joyce (Caesar) Harris, and Henry (Beverly) Deaderick Jr., sister/cousin Shirley (George) Davis, special cousin Carl Carter, grandchildren: Cortez Gill, Monee’ Smith, Damion Nix Jr., Brieria Nix, Miracle Clay, Reggie, Justin, Amelia, and Yavonne Nix, great grandchildren: Monterio Smith, Javontez and Devon Greer, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Public Walk Through will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2020 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Lewis & Wright Funeral Directors.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 949 T.S. Jackson Avenue
Nashville, Tennessee 37209.
