Phillip M. Caple, Sr., M.D.

Dr. Phillip M. Caple, Sr departed this life Saturday, February 19, 2022. He was surrounded by his loved ones who will carry on his legacy.

Dr. Caple leaves behind his Father, Dr. Lacy Caple, and is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Helen Caple. Loving Brother Lacy "Butch" Caple, and sister Cheryl Renee Caple. He leaves behind Deborah, his loving wife, Phil, Jr his oldest son, Nikki his daughter, and Damon his youngest son.

Dr. Caple also leaves behind 5 granddaughters, Nautica, Nyla, Bryanna, Kennedy, and Kaylie. 2 grandsons Kai and Kaleb. Niece Cassandra Henderson, and sister in law Linda Jones.

Dr. Caple leaves a legacy of love and concern for all people he came in contact with. He was a friend, father figure, and hero to many people whom he considered part of his extended family.

Public Walk Through will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Lewis and Wright Funeral Directors.

Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Jefferson St. at 11:00 a.m. Family visitation held from 10:00 am. – 11:00 a.m.
