Quinester Calloway

Age 84, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Samuel Knox and Mamie Bernice Haynes; husband of 59 years, Reverend Paul Calloway Sr., brother, David Pettigrew, and son, Byron Keith Calloway. She is survived by her children, Deirtra (John) Coleman and Paul Jr.(Sheila) Calloway; grandchildren, Ashley (Norlan), Celeste, Ken, Gentry, Kensi, Quinester, and Paul, III; sisters, Dorothy (Ernie), Susie, Jessie, Sharon, Sandra, Sherron, Omega and brothers, Samuel and Neil and a host of other relatives and friends. The body will lie in state on Wednesday, Sept. 11th, 2-6pm at Lewis & Wright. Thursday, September 12th Top Ladies of Distinction –“Ritual for Deceased Lady-4:45 p.m.; Ivy Beyond the Wall Ceremony 5:00 p.m., service to start at 6:00 p.m., First Baptist Church, Capitol Hill, 625 Rosa L.
