Rev. Dr. Terry Shelton

Terry Andre Shelton was the first-born child of the late William and Jamesenia Shelton on February 19, 1963, in Nashville, Tennessee. Most of his childhood was spent with his maternal grandparents, the late James and Thelma Ozell Howard, in Sweetwater, Tennessee. In addition to his parents and grandparents, he is preceded by his sister, Barbara Tate. Terry made his transition from the church militant to the church triumphant on July 31, 2024. 

 Those who survive to remember his life, love, and legacy is his son, Brent (Tasha) Hensley, Madisonville, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Zakiayah and Jasmyne Hensley, Madisonville, Tennessee; siblings, Libby Ragland, Tawansie (“Ball”) Shelton, Jeffrey Shelton; brother-in-law, Ray Tate; uncle, special friend, Yvonne Brown; St. James Primitive Baptist (PB) Church, Pulaski, TN and Lynn Creek PB Association; and numerous other relatives, loved ones, and friends.
