Survived by children, Amos (Cleo) Jones, Jr., Loretta (John O.) Brown, Sr.; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria Steppes; sister-in-law, Mattie (Howard) Taylor; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 2 - 5 p.m., at Lewis & Wright Funeral Directors, 2500 Clarksville Pk.
Family visitation Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 5 - 6 p.m., with funeral to follow at Fifteenth Ave. Baptist Church, 1203 - 9th Ave. N. Rev. Dr. William F. Buchanan, Pastor and Rev. Dr. Amos Jones Jr., Eulogist. Interment Historic Greenwood on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 10 a.m.
