Roland Maurrice Jenkins, Sr. transitioned on Sunday, August 2, 2026.

Maurrice was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Fred D. Jenkins Sr.; his grandmother, August Reed; his beloved wife, Robin Jackman Jenkins; and his nephew, Frederico D. Jenkins.

His life, love, laughter, and memory will forever be cherished by his children, Ariel, Amiya, and Roland Jenkins Jr., Jonae and John Broadway; his brothers, Johnny (Vanessa) Jenkins, James Jenkins, and Fred Jenkins; his grandchildren, Koeve and Kennidi Jenkins, Ava and Cannon Flowers, and Jayceon Thomas; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

The family also extends special love and appreciation to Tanya Webb; Triana Webb, Ava Thomas, and Ayla Webb; Briana Hibbitt, Jayceon Hibbitt, and Nomi Hibbitt; Michael Brown Jr.; and Malik Brown, whose love, friendship, care, and presence meant so much.

Maurrice’s earthly journey has ended, but the laughter he gave us has not. His stories will continue to be told. His nicknames will still be remembered. His smile will live in our memories, and his love will remain in the hearts of everyone blessed to have known him.
