Romeo Tychun Armstrong was born on February 8, 1997 to Shariff Johnson and Brenda Armstrong in Nashville, Tennessee. He departed this earthly life on June 30, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father; stepfather, Keon Hawkins; and brother, Kemontanez (“KD”) Armstrong.
Romeo attended Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. He played basketball, football, and ran track.
Romeo professed a saving faith in Jesus at an early age. He was baptized at Cathedral of Praise COGIC. He also attended St. Peter African Methodist Episcopal Church and Ephesian Primitive Baptist Church.
Romeo earned his Commercial Drivers License and drove for several local companies. He also worked in the food service industry.
Romeo married Tanisha Bell on June 7, 2022. Together, they welcomed a son, Romeo Jr. (“RJ”), for whom he was so proud.
Romeo enjoyed writing, rapping, being a father, and hanging with family. His laughter could permeate a room when “burning” on people.
Romeo leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Tanisha Bell; son, Romeo Jr (“RJ”); stepson, Jayceon Hughes; mother, Brenda Armstrong Hawkins; sister, Kia Yokley; nieces, Kalen Armstrong and Jaynelle Risby; grandmother, Brenda Hickman; aunts, Alisa (Reginald) Ewin, Lanet (Kenny) Keesee, Carolyn Sanders, Mary Ewing, Darlene Jordan, Vanessa Page, Linda Jones, Brenda (Ronnie) Terrell, Camille Burden, and Easa Scott; uncles, Tony Davis, John (Linda) Armstrong, Jesse Armstrong, and Kevin (Kim) Armstrong; beloved cousins, LaQuandria (“Quanie”) Williams, Carlos (“CJ”) Williams, Jr., Domenique Hawkins, Charles (“Trey”) Spencer, III, Kaylin Keesee, Caprice Jones, Tyshawn Davis, and numerous others; godmother, Alisa Ewin; mother-in-law; sister-in-law, Toshiba Bell; brothers-in-law, Darius, Jandari, and Carlton Bell; and many other relatives and friends.
