Age 100, passed away January 29, 2014. Ruth was born December 15, 1913, graduating from Pearl High School in 1932.
She is survived by daughter, Emma (Robert Sr.) Mitchem; granddaughter, Cheryl (German) Adams; grandson, Robert Jr. (Dettra) Nitchem, Hurst, TX; sister, Ella Warfield; devoted niece, Gloria (Robert) Edmondson; great-grandchildren, Erica & Evan Adams, Dionne, Diamond & Robert Mitchem III; sister-in-law, Clara Copeland; numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
Public viewing Monday, February 3, 2014 from 2-6 p.m.
Visitation Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 11 a.m. -12 Noon, with funeral to follow at Zion Baptist Church, 420 Weakley Ave., Rev. James Davis, Eulogist. Interment Greenwood Cemetery West.
