Thad Manning III affectionately known to many as "Pee Wee" or "Thaddeus J Whoopie," departed this life at home on June 23, 2026, at the age of 69. Thad III is the eldest son of Thad Manning Jr., and Daisy Rambus Manning. Throughout his life, Thad III was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes about his character.

He professed his faith in Christ Jesus at an early age. Family was not merely an important aspect of life, it was everything. He brought joy and energy to every family gathering becoming a "dancing machine"! He lit up the room with his signature James Brown splits and unique dance moves that never failed to bring smiles to those around him.

Thad III is preceded in death by his father, Thad Manning Jr., mother Daisy Rambus Manning, sisters Dolores Grigsby, Latanya, and Wendy Huddleston, brothers Eric Manning, Michael and Charles Fuqua. He also joins his nephews Abraham Awodi, Dais B. Manning, and Terrence J. Grigsby in eternal rest.

He is survived by stepmother, Mrs. Idella Manning, who gave her endless love and affection, sisters Virginia and Carrie Manning, Lillie Hambrick (Melvin), Vanessa Young, Elise Hodges (Marcus), and Sylvia Featherston (Alvin), who shared countless cherished moments with him, brothers, Darrell Manning, Howard, and Byron Huddleston, Herbert and Paul Fuqua, will forever hold him in their hearts. Nieces; Chelsea Manning and Sade Huddleston, nephews Michael Grigsby Jr., and Rashad Doss Manning. Thad III's closest and dearest friend, Ms. Martha Overton. We thank God for everyone who loved and will deeply miss his kindness he brought into our lives.

In the words of his family: "Thad III was more than a brother, uncle, and a friend. He lived his life on his own terms and now he has entered into eternal peace; a redeemed life. He leaves us with an expression for our journey through this life, “always be ready when this life ends.”

Rest in peace, dear Thad III. Your spirit will dance eternally in our hearts.
