Thame was born in Nakhon Sawan, Thailand on August 6, 1937. She met Isaac Frierson, Jr. when he was stationed there while serving in the Air Force. They were married on June 15, 1970.
She attended Bethesda Original Church of God with her husband until she was no longer able to attend. She leaves to mourn her passing, her devoted husband, Isaac Frierson, Jr.; brothers-in-law Harold Frierson (Oakland, CA),
Sherman Frierson (Nashville); and sisters-in-law Louise V. Frierson and Freida (Randy, Sr.) Crawley (Nashville). She also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews
