Tony D. Barksdale

Tony Deangelo Barksdale was born August 3, 1991 and returned to his heavenly home January 21, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother Teressa, and brothers, Ricky and Robert.

He was educated in the Metro Nashville Public School System. Tony accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. Later he participated at St. Luke AME Church where his uncle was the pastor, singing with the choir and the young people’s department. Tony was a mild mannered young man and was admired by all who met him. He was a joker, who liked to have fun. He loved motor cycles and was a member of the Dynamite Motorcycles Club where he served as Sargent of Arms and his biker name was “Alkapone”.

He leaves to cherish his memories his father; Anthony R. Strickland; children; Tony L. Barksdale, Kayleigh McClain; sisters, Keyia (Robert) Mitchell, Jeressa Barksdale(Chris), Keshia Strickland, Jessie Watkins, Kimari Strickland, Kimberly Fitzpatrick, Kylexus McDonald; brothers; LaDonta and Emmuanuel Campbell; grandmothers, Annie Barksdale and Mary E. Strickland, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and many devoted friends
