Age 94, of Nashville transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Thursday, December 19, 2019. His survivors include, wife of 27 years, Katherine Dobson; children, Pamela Marie Byrd, Beverly Ann, Mattie Teresa Byrd, Jacqueline Ann Byrd, Barbara Ann Byrd, ZaLacie Brown, William Byrd, Maurice Byrd, Michael Byrd, and Terrence (Sheila) Jackson; stepsons, Ellis, Reginald, and Eric Kinzer; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; other relatives and friends; and his Hart Street Church family.
