Willie Moore, Jr.

Age 88, departed this life October 7, 2019. Preceded in death by his wife, Juanita, of 53 years, as well as his parents, siblings, many aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and colleagues. Willie is survived by his son, Reginald; cousins including, Roy and Minnie Logan and their children, Marsha and Ron Logan (Angela); a host of loving cousins-in-law, including Stephen Dailey, of Nashville, TN; Stephen Dailey, II (Stacey), Jordyn, Kyndall, Camryn and Stephen Dailey, III, of Franklinton, NC; Shomari (Terra), Esq., and Brooklyn Dailey of Flossmoor, IL; Sarah Bullock, James Porter, Barbara Jean Whiteman and Jean Porter, all of Mt. Pleasant, TN; Lurleen Price, of Nashville, TN; and dear friends John Martin, Samuel Chambers (Juanita), James “Bubba” Woods, all of Memphis, TN; and Benjamin and Ernestine and Benjamin II, Butler, of Houston, TX, as well as his devoted fraternity brothers and church members. Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 15th from 3-6pm at Lewis & Wright. Family Visitation Wednesday, October 16th, 11am-11:30am; The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity , Inc. "Omega" Service, 11:30am-11:45am; with funeral to follow at 12 noon, Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church, 1203 9th Ave North. Interment Middle TN Veterans Cemetery.
